Yes, accepted. Bring the card to the first visit and our team verifies coverage before your child is seen. If coverage changes between visits, let us know and we will re-check before the appointment.

Questions about coverage? Call [248-360-2555](tel:2483602555).

Don't have insurance?

No problem. We accept CareCredit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, cash, and checks. Credit card payments carry a 3% surcharge, and payment is due at the time of service.

We do not publish prices, because every child and every plan is different. Call us before treatment and we will explain what your plan covers and what it does not.

## Questions parents ask

Coverage and payment, explained.

Dental insurance can be hard to navigate, and every plan covers something a little different. Our team works with these plans every day, so bring your card or your questions and we will walk you through what your plan covers before your child is seen.

Do you take Medicaid?

Yes. Healthy Kids Dental, the Michigan Medicaid dental plan for children, is accepted. Bring the card to the first visit and our team confirms coverage before your child is seen.

Is my child's first visit covered?

For most plans, yes, including Healthy Kids Dental. We confirm with your plan before the visit rather than guessing, so bring the card or send the plan name and member ID with your request.

What if I do not have insurance?

No problem. We accept CareCredit, credit cards, cash, and checks, and payment is due at the time of service. Call us before the visit and we will go over what to expect for your child.

Do you take HMO plans or a plan that is not listed?

Policies must be PPO. If your carrier is listed but you are not sure your plan is a PPO, or your carrier is not on the list, call with the plan name and member ID and we will check before you book.

Will you file the claim?

Yes. The office files the claim for every plan it accepts and tells you what is covered before any treatment. Care that a plan only partly covers is explained first, so there are no surprises at checkout.

## Have an emergency?

If your child is struggling to breathe or swallow, or has a head injury, call 911 first. For a dental emergency that is not life-threatening, such as a knocked-out tooth, a broken tooth, dental swelling, or pain that will not settle, call our emergency line, day or night. We would rather tell you it can wait than have you sit on it over a weekend.
